செலுத்துவதை உள்ளடக்கிய முறை. உருக்கள் மின்னணு முறையில் அலகிடப்பட்டுச் செலுத்தும் குறிகைகளாக மாற்றப்படுகின்றன. பின் இவை பெறும் நிலையத்திற்கு அனுப்பப்படுகின்றன. இங்குக் குறிகைகள் முதல் உருவின் இரட்டிப்பாக மாற்றப்படுகின்றன.
failure logging - The automatic recording of state of various computer systems following the detection of machine fault. தவறு பதிதல்: எந்திரத் தவறைக் கண்டறிந்ததும் பல கணிப்பொறித் தொகுதிகளின் நிலையைத் தானாகப் பதிவு செய்யும் நிலை.
fallback - The manual or electronic system suitable for the computer system in case of breakdown. மீட்பு : பழுது ஏற்படும் பொழுது, கணிப்பொறித் தொகுதிக்காக மாற்றீடு செய்யப்படும் மின்னணு அல்லது கைவழித் தொகுதி.
fast access storage - The section of a computer storage from which data are obtained more rapidly. மீவிரைவுச் சேமிப்பு : கணிப்பொறிச் சேமிப்பின் ஒரு பகுதி. இதிலிருந்து மிக விரைவாகத் தகவல்கள் பெறப்படும்.
fast time scale - In simulation by an analog computer a scale in which the time duration of a simulated event is less than the actual time duration of the event in the physical system under study. விரைவுநேர அளவுகோல் : பகர்ப்பில் ஒப்புமைக் கணிப்பொறி அளவுகோலால் இது நடைபெறுவது. இதில் பகர்ப்பு நிகழ்வின் காலஅளவு, ஆய்விலுள்ள தொகுதியின் உண்மை நேர அளவைவிடக் குறைவாய் இருக்கும்.
fatal error - An error in a computer programme causing running of the programme to be terminated. முடிவுப்பிழை : கணிப்பொறியிலுள்ள பிழை நடைபெறும் நிகழ்நிரலை முடியுமாறு செய்வது.
fault - Any physical condition causing a component of a data processing system to fall in performance. அறுகை : இது ஓர் இயல்நிலை செயல்திறன் வீழ்ச்சியைத் தகவல் முறையாக்கு தொகுதியின் பகுதியில் உண்டாக்குவது.
fault time - Down time அறுகை நேரம் : கீழிறங்கு நேரம்.
feed - Causing data to be entered into a computer for processing.
