103 At Chidambaram, the very sight of the temple tower sent him into a trance. He sang the soul-stirring songs “Path thanaaip Paada maattēn" (L.345Guilli Lurrl–lorrl_Gl_gir) “Annam Paalikkum” („gysärsdrublurrastéšGub) and “Ariyaanai Andhannartham”, (->ịifluurrởör -gliög5smarrf.h th) in praise of and dedication to the Lord of Thillai. Thirunavukkarasar left for Sirkazhi to see the gifted child Gnanasambandhar who was blessed by Siva and Sakthi at the age of three. The news of the coming of the aged Saint reached the Divine Child. Sambandar was overjoyed. He set out with his followers to welcome the Saint. When they met they fell at each other's feet and Sambandar called out “Appar! Appar!” and embraced him. From that day the na me Appar became more popular than Thirunavukkarasar. Then he proceeded to Thingalur (Étégégoff); there he performed a miracle and brought back to life Saint Appudi Adigall's son who died from snakebite. He sang the Padigam “Ondru Kolaam Avar** (@görgy Gastroonrih =9 suff). He was given a rousing welcome by the Saivite devotees at Thiruvarur (965 surroff) where he had the Lord’s Dharshan. His heart over flowed with love. He shed tears of love. He danced with joy and was immersed in divine bliss, and sang “Kattravargal Umannum' (கற்றவர்கள் உண்ணும்). a “Thirutthaandagam” (Sö3:5rreiwi-sih) praising the Lord. At Thiruveezhimizhalai (@@affluopäu), both Appar an d Sambandar were deeply touched by the sufferings of the people and prayed to the Lord for relief. The famine vanished soon. They went to Thirumarraikkadu (திருமறைக்காடு) where the main doors of the temple had remained closed for years. They heard of this and when they went there, Appar Sa ng “Pannnninnnē ar mozhiyaall” (ugšu sasfleir நேர் மொழியாள்) and the doors opened. They went in and worshipped the Lord. When they returned to the same entrance, Sambandar Sang a padigam so that the doors could close and open.
