The Yagas of the Brahmins Agnishtoma, the first and foremost of the yagas, was performed by Kuppa Dikshit in 1824; by the father of Rama Vajpai some tìmạ before 1825; and by Sadasiva Kesav Dikshit Pandit and a host of high officers în 1826, W. - Pasubhanda one of the eighteen yagas, conducted, once of twice per year, was performed by Kuppa Srouti in 1827 and Värshapāsu by Naga Bhat Sadasiva Bhat in 1829. ... " Vajapeya is a Yaga that may be performed both by the Kings and the Brahmins. Mounting a chariot and holding a white umbrella are among the important functions connected with this yaga.
