மென்று நிச்சயம் பண்ணி அந்த பிள்ளையை யிந்து தற்மத்துக்கு எவ்வளவாகி லும் வித்தியாசம் வராமல் சகல விதத்திலேயும் சவரrனை பண்ணி வித்தையுங் கற்பித்துக்கொடுத்தார்கள். =
ஸாஹாராஜாவுக்கு வித்தையும் பரிபூறணமாய் வந்து பணிரெண்டு வயது மாச்சுது. அப்போ பாற்ச்சாவுடைய பெண்’ தன்னுடைய பிள்ளையின் ரூபம் வயதும் வித்தையும் அன்னியயொன்னியம்’ இத்தனை யோக்கியமாயிருக்கிறத்தை யெல்லாம் பார்த்து அவருக்கு கலியாணம் பண்ணவேணுமென்று அபேச்சையாய் பாற்ச்சாயிக்குச் சொன்ள்ை. அப்போ பாற்ச்சாயி கலியாணத்துக்கு யோக்கி யதைக்கி தக்கதாய் சிலவுக்குங் கொடுத்து கலியாணம் பண்ணிக்கொண்டு பெண்ணையும் பிள்ளையும், அழைத்துக்கொண்டு வாருங்கோளென்று உத்தாரம் பண்ணி அனுப்பிவித்தார். அதுக்குத் தக்கதாய் ஸாஹ ருஜாவுக்கு ஜாதவ' வீட்டுக் கன்னிகை சக்வாற்பாயியை கல்லியாணம்' பண்ணியான பிற்பாடு பொண்ணையும் பிள்ளையையும் பாதுஷாகிட்ட அனுப்பிவிக்கிற வேளையிலே உறைமுறையா ரெல்லாருஞ் சேர்ந்து யோசினை பண்ணினது; பாற்ச்சாயி எத் தனை பிறியமாக யிருந்தாலும் துலுக்காளுடைய சாதியென்று அனுமானப்பட்டு அந்த சக்வார்பாயியை அனுப்பாமல் அந்த ஸ்தானத்துக்கு விரு" யென்னப்பட்ட வெள்ளாட்டியை நிச்சயம் பண்ணி அனுப்பிவித்தார்கள் அப்போபெண்ணையும் பிள்ளையையும் பாற்ச்சாயி தன் ரெண்டு துடையின்பேரிலே உளுக்கார வைத்துக்கொண்டு பொண்ணைப் பார்க்கிற வேளையிலே இதிலே கிறுத்திறமம்'

34. Shahu took in all four legitimate wives Ambikabai, Savitribai, Sakwarbai, and Sagunabai. His marriage with the first took place some time about 1703 in the Emperor's Camp...Shahu on his return home married two wives, Sakwarbail the elder and Sagunabai the younger” (Sardesai II Page 289).
