There is no limit for desires. Although one should reign over the whole world, he would
like to extend his sway over the seas.
Even though one is in possession of tons of gold like Kubera
of Alagaapuri. he would like to amass wealth by alchemy” and wander about.
Though one has out lived, hoping to live eternally, he would wander about to obtain Kaayakalpa” and undergo suffering.
If one should ponder over these, there is nothing, more than eating to suppress hunger and sleeping after that.
One should feel satisfaction with what he has.
Longing for any thing and everything, leaving one and cat
ching another, I should not fall into the sea of desire. But I should attain the state of purity. Please grant this.
