திருநாவுக்கரசர் தேவாரம் 13
I never forgot or failed (to worship) with waters, flowers and incense. I never failed to sing Tamil songs set in music. I did not forget you while well placed in life or while suffering. My tongue never failed to chant Your Secred Name. Oh Lord, who took alms in the skull of the dead and roam about! Please relieve me of the pain that has afflicted my body and bestow grace. 1, a devotee, am suffering. Oh Lord that resides in the temple “Vecrattaanam" on the banks of the river Gadilam at Thiru Athigai!
போர்த்தாய் அங்கோர் ஆனையின் ஈருரிதோல் Põrththaay angõr aanaiyin eerurithöl
புறங்கா(டு) அரங்கா நடமாட வல்லாய் purrangaadu arangaa nadama ada vallaay ஆர்த்தான் அரக்கன் தனமால் வரைக்கீழ் Aarthaan arakkan thanaimaal varaikkeezh
அடர்த்திட்(டு) அருள் செய்த அது கருதாய் Adarththittu arullseydha adhukarudhaay வேர்த்தும் புரண்டும் விழுந்தும் எழுந்தால் Vērththum puranndum vizhundhum ezhundhaal
என் வேதனே LIFT ĠIT விலக்கி இடாய் envēdhanai ya.ana vilakki idaay ஆர்த்தார் புனல் சூழ் அதிகைக் கெடில Aarththaar punalsūzh adhigaik kedila
வீரட்டானத்து உறை அம்மானே. veerattaanath thu urrai ammaanē.
திருச்சிற்றம்பலம்
Øp(m) யானேயின் தோலே உரித்துப் போர்த்துக் கொண்டாய், சுடு காட்டையே நாடக அரங்காகக் கொண்டாய்; அங்கே நடனம் ஆடு கிருய், இராவணன் ஆகிய ராக்ஷ சன் ஆரவாரம் செய்து மலேயைத் துக்கிருறன் ; அவனை நெருக்கி அவனுக்கு அருள் செய்தாய்; அத&ன நினைவில் கொள்! நான் வேர்க்கிறேன்; புரள்கிறேன்; விழுகிறேன்; எழுகிறேன். என்கவிடிடங்களே நீக்குவாய்! ஆரவாரம் செய்து கொண்டு கெடிலநதியின் வெள்ளம் சூழ்ந்துஇருக்கிற திரு வதிகையில், வீரட்டானம் என்ற கோயிலில் இருக்கும் தலைவனே!
