அளவுக்கு அடங்காத பெரிய ஒளியே! சந்திரன் சூரியன் முதலிய ஒளிகளாக இருப்பவனே! மற்ற ஒளிகள் சூழ்ந்து இருக்கும் விளக்காக இருப்பவனே! சுரிந்த கூந்தலே உடைய உமையை ஒரு பாதியில் உடையவனே! பால் போன்ற நிறம் உடைய வெண்மையான விபூதியை அணிந்தவனே! தாமரையில் உள்ள பிரமனும், திருமாலும் அறிய முடியாதவனே! நீதியேவடிவு எடுத்தவனே! செல்வம் பொருந்திய திருப்பெருந் துறையில் மலர்கள் நிறைந்த குருந்த மரத்தின் அடியில் வீற்று இருந்தவனே! முழுமுதற் கடவுளே! அடியேன் அன்போடு அழைக்கிறேன் அதற்கு என்ன காரணம்’ என்று கேட்டு அருள் செய்வாய்!
