An optional template, that allows a separate transclusion of the manuscript as amended by the author, not showing any deleted text, and not highlighting any other changes.

Usage

Add {{Manuscript Amended}} beneath the header of the transcluded page for the amended version.

For example, for Index:Thomas De Quincey The Defier of Ghosts Manuscript.pdf :

• The Defier of Ghosts is a transclusion of the above manuscript including deletions, and highlighting other changes
• The Defier of Ghosts (amended) is a transclusion of the same manuscript using {{Manuscript Amended}}

Emphasis

If the manuscript uses underlining to indicate where the author wanted text to be rendered in italics, you can use {{underline}} in the Page: namespace, and then in {{Manuscript Amended}} set |emphasis= to any value to display underlined text as italics.

For example:

• {{Manuscript Amended|emphasis=yes}}

Linespacing

If the manuscript transcription uses increased linespacing (e.g. using {{lh2/s}}, to allow multiple levels of {{Manuscript Replacement}} insertions), you can set |linespacing= to any value to reset linespacing to normal.

For example:

• {{Manuscript Amended|linespacing=yes}}
