There is enough flexibility in our Constitution and our Central and State leaders have been wise enough to appreciate the limits within which the demand for autonomy may be pressed." மேலும் சொல்கிறார் திரு ஜெயப்பிரகாஷ் நாராயண், "I myself have been a consistant advocate of a much larger measure of autonomy to the states in view of the vastness of our population and the diversity of our problems." இப்படிக் திரு ஜெயப்பிரகாஷ் நாராயண் அவர்கள் குறிப்பிட்டிருக்கிறார்கள். ஆகவே நாம் சுயாட்சி என்பது திரு கே. டி. கே. சொல்வது போல் தமிழ் நாட்டிற்கு மாத்திரம் கேட்பதல்ல. தமிழ்நாட்டிற்குச் சுதந்தரம் கேட் கிறோம் என்று யாரும் நினைத்துக்கொள்ளக் கூடாது. நியூ யார்க் டைம்ஸிலே போட்டிருக்கிறார்கள் என்றால், அவர்கள் இந்தியாவுக்கு ஆதரவாகவும் எழுதலாம், எதிராகவும் எழுத வாம். அவர்கள் போடுவதற்கு தாம் பொறுப்பாளியல்ல, அமெரிக்காவுக்கும் நமக்கும் என்ன நட்புணர்ச்சி இருக்கிறது. போர் நிகழ்ந்த நேரத்திலே நமக்கெல்லாம் துரோகமிழைத்த நாடு அது என்பது இங்கேயுள்ளவர்களுக்கு எல்லாம் தெரியும். அவர்கள் தமிழ்நாட்டிற்கும், இந்திய நாட்டிற்கும் ஒரு மோதலை உண்டாக்கிப் பயன்படுத்திக்கொள்ளப் பார்க்கிறார் களே தவிர வேறு ஒன்றும் இல்லை. நியூயார்க் டைம்ஸிலே வருகிறது என்றால் அங்கு இருந்து இங்கே வந்து பார்த்துச் சென்றஒருஎழுத்தாளரா எழுதுகிறார்? யாரோ இங்கு இருந்து அந்தக் கைங்கரியத்தை, அந்தப் புண்ணிய காரியத்தை, அந்தத் திவ்யகாரியத்தைச் செய்திருக்கிறார்கள்என்பதுதானே 5730 தியிருப்பார்கள் என்பது
