with the same refrain in which eel, oor have no meaning. In some verses in this decad Paavaai is a vocative term to call the lady-love of Paarvathi. The maidens have collected at dawn in front of the house of the lady-love and arouse her to go to the stream to bathe. They appear to be unaware of the secret love of the lady with God Maadevan but are chanting His name and are singing His glory as they reach her door.
