Decad: 48 Pandaaya Naanmarai (The Ancient Four Vedaas) sub-title: Anubavaththukku Ayyaminmai vuraiththal (Declaring the indubitability of the Experience) Abstract: The saint declares in this decad that the ancient Vedaas have not approached Him (1) but he uttering the mystic flawless gem of a word, that is, NA MA CI VAA YA3 and keeping the Feet of universal Medicine in his mind severed the cycle of birth.(7). Pointing out that those devotees who desired to be freed from further births, cherished all their organs of perception as tools for gaining supreme Bliss (6), he advises his mind to praise His Feet(3), asks his tongue to speak of His glory(6) and persuades his eyes to see the Lord with the Dame (5). Thus he expresses the indubitability of the experience of Bliss in this decad as contemplated in the sub-title. It is vividly clear when the saint positively asserts that he has severed his birth in the last verse(7). Further it is a very sigificant stanza, ending as it does before the subsequent decad which deals with the cessation of suffering of the soul. Another feature lies in the fifth verse of this decad, that Kokazhi is perhaps a different place from Thirupperunthurai. B25
