But we have not lost hope. We have every bit of confidence that the youth of our country-you all who are bubbling with energy, enthusiasm and resourcefulnes all these are purposefully and effectively channelised and harnessed in the right direction. You, who will be the future citizens in whose delicate hands the destiny of nation trembles will live upto the ideal of Gandhiji whose philosophy is the quintiscent of Indian philanthropy having its anchorage in a deep vision of life in a society enlightened by knowledge, guided by reason united by love. We look forward to our youth the students who are in schools and colleges today are you all, to build a new India an India free from dirt, disease and poverty. free from casteism and communalism and India which is free from violence, India which will live upto the vision of our immortal Bharathy who envisaged the society in which men and women will have equality of status and opportunity.
