This template simplifies small-capital [letter] formatting of Big text in order to desnot the editbox.

nb: The span tag takes control of the font-size and sets bold, too… semantically, this should be done with explicit strength/boldness with either a strong or b element added to the wrap (or wiki-style apostrophes; I would favor using strong).
