Usage

A small link to a scan of a work located outside Wikisource.

Single part sources

If the work is available as a single file or at a single location, use just the first parameter:

In Northern Mists: Arctic Exploration in Early Times {{ext scan link|1=https://archive.org/details/innorthernmists00nansgoog}}

In Northern Mists: Arctic Exploration in Early Times (external scan)

Multiple parts

If the work is split into parts or volumes, you can use more parameters:

Note

The explicit use of the sequential parameters (1= 2= 3= ) is required when the URL contains an equals (=) sign. The positional parameters are currently coded to 20 volumes, and can be as needed.
