After visiting the various temples Sambandar returned to Sirkazhi. He was then sixteen years, old. His relatives made arrangements for his marriage, Sambandar entered the temple along with his bride. He sang the Padigam "Kallur Perumanam ". It was Moola nakshatra of the month of Vaikasi. Sambandar then sang the Padigam "Kathalagi Kasinthu ". At the end of the song a bright light appeared.
