Decad: 17 Annaippaththu (Decad of the Mother) Sub-title: Aaththuma Pooranam (Soul's fulfilment) (Sung at Thiisai) Annai = mother; paththu = (ten) decad; Aaththuma = of thesoul; pooranam = fulfilment. In this Decad of the mother, the saint has openly declared his love in bridal mysticism. The bride in love discloses her secret love of Civan to her mother by a series of exclamations. By way of extoling His glory, she exclaims how her mind has gone behind Him. This decad is made up of 10 verses in Kali-Viruththam metre. It is said to be made of broken rhythm.
