Decati:27 Punarchchippaththu (Decad of union) Sub-title: Aththuwaitha lakkanann (Characteristics of non-duality) Abstract: In this Decad of mystic union, the saint desires to remain joined in mystic embrace with God. He is anxious to be locked in embrace with God melting in his mind, wailing as much as he can performing various kinds of antics like standing, sitting. lying, rising, laughing, weeping, adoring, praising and seeing God (2,3,5,7,8}. He is worried with tears gushing and gushing that he has parted from Him Who bestowed on Him His grace (6) even after not only uniting with him/her but making him/her His own (11:11) In my opinion the thrilling body, tremulous voice. streaming tears and folded palms are symptoms of transformation of the physical body of the saint into an ecstasy-bubbling celestial body for the mystic embrace with God. Only then can the saint and God remain in advaitha union as the sub-title of the Decad - characteristics of non-duality--indicates. Expressing his greatest ambition and desire, by posing a question,"When am I to remain joined in mystic embrace with my Lord?” in all the tenstanzas simply shows the fretting and fuming love of the saint în bridal mysticism. = - - |*****
