44. Enma-p-pathikam “I have ceased seeing Your sacred Feet; I have ceased cherishing to see them to the delight of my eyes; I have ceased to babble about You! Oh our Lord! Oh Thamu! (stable one) I have lost the capacity to melt while thinking of You; by my meanness I have ceased to know You; even if You were to come any more I would shrink out of shame from seeing You.” (44: 5) “Oh my Owners Graciously say “Ah Ah!” and take pity on me that I,though unrighteous. may be consoled in my mind by extolling You, our transcendent One adorned with milk-white ash, the Effulgence Who, appearing along with the transcendent Mercy before true devotees, bestows on them the heaven of Grace, by meditating on Him, praying and praising Him as my Ambrosia and by adoring and hailing Him with loud lamentations.” (44 : 6) 791
