Decad: 44 Enna-p-pathikam (Decad of Thoughts) Sub-title: Ozhiyaa Inbaththu Vuvahai (Joy from unceasing Bliss) Abstract: - In this Decad of Thoughts, the saint recollects the blissful events of the past, He prays that the extensively continued cycle of his births should cease and that he should receive loving piety(1). He deplores that he has no right to be His Servant (2) as he has become ineligible to visualize Him (5) and that he cannot tarry any longer in this world being separated from Him (2). He is so distressed that He would shrink from seeing Him if He were to appear again before him (5). Still he pleads that He may be pleased to sever the chain of birth (4) even though he has no loving piety nor does he worship in devotion (4). He argues whether the Grace so benevolently bestowed by such a great person Whosaying, “Dobehold!"showed His jewelled Feet and said that He will not desert him is after all a lie! He prays to take pity on him so that he may be consoled and remain extolling His benevolence, hailing, praising and adoring Him with loud lamentations unceasingly. Although the content of the sub-title-Joy from unceasing Bliss--cannot be fully comprehended with only the six verses of this decad, we may observe that the saint recollects that he has already been blessed to visualise His sacred Feet as and when Ambrosia wells up in his body (42:5). He, therefore, reiterates the words of the unique and great person “Do behold!” Who showed him. His sacred Feet (44:2,3) to enjoy His unceasing Bliss. 793
