Decad: 47 Thiru vennbaa == (The Sacred Vennbaa) Sub-title: Amainthor-thanmai (The Characteristics of those who have united with the God-head) Abstract: In this decad the saint delightfully expresses that He shall bestow the transcendent Bliss which none else has been so far blessed to achieve (9). Here starts his exuberant exultation in expressing his exhilarating supreme experience (11) which culminates in the last decad (51) where he expatiates on who else could gain such a privilege which the Lord vouchsafed him. He declares that the Lord of Perunthurai, setting up love in him, has rejoicingly taken possession of his mind as His city in the shape of an Effulgence (11). That Light effused by the Lord Who has occupied his mind, becoming such an unsatiating Ambrosia, bestowed on him the path of no-return (7). He hopes that the great One will stay permanently in his heart without departing from it (5). The Lord of Perumthurai, the undying Bliss and Medicine coming into his mind, will not only make him ineffably intoxicated with Bliss but, looking at him with great Grace, will also make him God-mad (6). 815
