49. Thirupadaiyaatchi If He of the Vedaas,the endless Lord will graciously arise in me to make me His own, the melodious sound arising from the massed conches will not burst forth. The qualities that do not give up the caste will not be fed up with us. The delusion of “This is good there; this is good here.” will not abide in our minds. All our desires wil no longer be just to call ourselves the slaves of His devotees. The thought of damsels with bright eyes resembling those of red Kayal fish will not rejoice. The experience of Civan-hood by the glorious saints will no longer be obvious. There will no longer be our reaching the transcendent Flame Which, pervading every where, exudes ambrosia. (49:8) 843
