Decad: 10 Thirukkoththumbi Sub-title:Civanodu Aikkiyam (Uniting with Civan) Abstract: One has to ponder very deeply in introspection to find out the answer to the questions raised in verses 2 and 15 such as, “Who am I? What worth is my mind? What matters my wisdom? Who would know me? Where would I and my mind be before our Lord?” One is aware that each and every saint of lore has been yearning, weeping, mourning and trembling for long for His grace but nobody seems to know how far this cry is heard! So it is legitimate to know, “Who would know or hear this precarious condition”? In verse 13 while the saint as His bride conveys the message through the King dragon, that He out of mercy may Himself come and unite with her, the passionless passion appears to have been extra-ordinarily exihibited. It is significant to note that the Dancer squirts honey of Bliss to the melting of all the bones everytime the bride-in love thinks of Him, sees Him, speaks about Him, and always (3). This is perhaps the actual symptom of the devoted and divine love for Him not only for the saint in bridal mysticism but for all those who ascend the ladder of spiritual evolution. The sub-title, Uniting with Civan, seems to be exihibited in this especially verse 13 where the saint prays to Him to come and unite with him. 4T 6
