One may pray for himself and also pray for others This booklet is intended for the purpose of praying for others also.
As already stated one might not have prayed at all during the whole of his life. But now he is dead; any how, if prayer is done on his behalf, the Lord is ready to emancipate his sins.
This booklet under the caption Neeththaar vazhipaadu is a collection of verses sang by the great saints and sages of Tamil Naadu and the verses are all the outpourings of their religious experiences. By singing these wishes and praying, it is hoped that the departed soul will have a good birth in Tamil
Naadu, have good fortune of worshipping Lord Siva and attain beatitude under His Lotus feet.
I am indeed thankful to Sri. N.C. Naidoo for having caused the compilation of the verses by a proper person and for having asked me to write out the paraphrase in simple Tamil and translate them into English. I also appreciate Sri N.C. Naidoofor his everlasting and yeoman services for the cause of spread ing Hindu religious thoughts.
