He was the Lord of those born in Kaundinya (gotra). Uma Devi fed him with divine milk while lic wept. He was blessed with “Thaalam”—cymbols. He 1 ode on the pearl palanquin. He cured (the daughter of Kolli Mazhavan) of a colic disease called “muyalagan”. He was blessed with a canopy of pearls. He got a purse everlasting (for the sake of his father). He brought back life to a merchant stung by a cobra at Marugal. At Thiruveezhimizha Iaí he got a gold coin daily. He made the doors shut at a temple in Thiru Maraikkadu. While at Madurai he cured the Pandya king who was afflicted with high fever. He took out unburnt the palm leaf (containing a pathigam—decad) from the flames before a big assemblage. He made the palm leaf (with the divine song) placed in the river to go up the current. He caused to persecute all Jains. By singing a decad he caused a boat to sail across a flooded river (at Kollamputhur). (At Pothimangai) he was challenged by a Bhuddist who was killed by a thunderbolt. At Thiru Voth thur he changed male palmyra trees into female ones. At Mylapore he brought out the preserved bones of a dead girl into the form of a young maid. At last he attained the sect of the Lord at Thirupperumana Nallur (Modern Aachal puram).
