13. Thiruppoovalii “Singing the glory of our Lord boiling with rage to the destruction of the prestige of the Fire-god, the Sun-god, Raavana. Anthakan (God of death) the red-eyed Ari, Ayan, Indra the Moon-god, Thakkan of untainted repute and Echchan, let us pluck the flowers of lily". (13:15) “Singing of the Rider of the strong bull in battle, of the fierce Lion of those in Civapuram graciously eating the rice-cake on earth in Madurai and of His being wounded when Paandian took work from Him, let us pluck flowers of lily”. (13:16) “The ancient Maal, Ayan, the heavenly ones and the Thaanavar (Asuras) do not know His sacred golden Feet but they merely praise them. Singing of the gleaming serpents which form the ornaments to such a Cne Who entering into my body made me His, let us pluck flowers of lily". (13:17)
