Decad:26 Athicaya-p-paththu (Decad of wonder) Sub-title: Muththi Hakkanann (Characteristics of Deliverance) Sung at Thirupperunthurai Athicayam = wonder; paththu = decad. This decad is made up of 10 verses of four lines each in Aasiriya viruththam metre. “We have seen the wonder of my father of holy flowery, peerless, transcendent and resplendent Feet making me His own,ioined me into the assembly of His saints, me who instead of calling Him “Oh my hoard of wealth ! Oh lustre of ruby.” and melting within my mind, am languished over the charms of damsels with cup-like breasts.” (26:1) “We have seen the wonder of the supremely transcendent One stood as the eternal Primordial Being half of whom is joined with the Dame, made me His-own saying, “He is my devotee” and joined me to His saints, me who neither thought of any righteous deeds nor did associate with those who think on these, but am sorrowfully rolling about in birth and death here”.
