Atliicayappaththu This verse has been quoted by Nachinaarkiniyar, the greatest commentator of the classical Tamil literature and grammar ever born in elucidating the meaning of the word “Kanthazhi" (boundless unbound Being) in Tholkaapiyam. Further the saint wonders over the gracious act of Civan in transforming him into effulgence (8) and joining him in the band of His devotees in all the ten stanzas of this verse (26:1-10) as he desired (25:9). This unique feature of wonder in joining him in the assembly of His devotees, which has been his cherished ambition, is perhaps the characteristic of deliverance as is contemplated by the sub-title of this decad.
