Arputha—p—paththu “I do not understand the gracious miracle of the sea of Grace who has neither attributes nor symbols coming along with the Dame, embracing and enslaving me who, without thinking of this repeatedly forging cycle of birth and death. was wandering about like a mad wretch in the company of maidens immersed in the great flood of nieasure of their lips.” (41:6) “I do not understand the gracious miracle of my Father coming and showing me His twin Feet and enslaving me who without plucking suitable flowers and unfailingly placing them at the jewelled golden Feet chanting the sacred five letters (Na Ma Ci Va Ya) in the prescribed manner, lay down overcome by the dark eyes of damsels with buxom breasts.” (41:7) “I do not understand the gracious miracle of the Lord Who is incomprehensible by experience to those who would comprehend Him by noise, ridding me of the twin deeds which keep swaying my life and body and bestowing such comprehensible experience (unarvu) in me, transformed me into light,severing the grip of bonds (paasam) fulfilling my ambitious desire out of His lofty and transcendent Mercy and joined me to the feet of His devotees.” (41:8) 761
