My life with the life of beautiful damsels shall not be degraded. The cycle of my coming to the world to be reborn will not recur even by oversight. We shall not worship the twin Feet which Maal has not known. We shall not indulge in song and dance set to gladsome melody. We shall no longer sing of the victories of Him Who has Paandinaadu as His domain. No longer shall the mystic powers in which the heavens are delighted, come and exhibit.” (49:1) B29
